>> Update June 2008 - What's next for Rupert? In January, Rupert finished filming the 2-part Eco-Drama called Burn Up for BBC2. Co-starring are Neve Campbell (Scream) and Bradley Whitford (The West Wing). It was broadcast in Canada on June 10th and 11th and can be seen in the UK on July 23rd and 25th on BBC2.
Rupert has completed filming his very last Spooks episodes and his next project, a 3-part modern day Jack The Ripper murder-drama called Whitechapel. It will be broadcast late this year on ITV.

>> Rupert in new Poliakoff Drama (Nov.06)Now that the filming of Persuasion has ended, Rupert is keeping busy filming a still untitled TV movie, written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff. It features an ensemble cast including Michael Gambon and Kelly Reilly. Rupert plays a high-flying polititian named Richard, who has a passionate and clandestine love-affair with Kelly Reilly's character. The project, which has the working title of Poliakoff 2006, is produced by Talkback Thames and co-financed by the BBC and HBO. Rupert has previously worked with Poliakoff in the play Sweet Panic as well as the films Food For Love and The Tribe.
Adam Carter fans need not worry. Filming will be done just in time for Rupert to return to filming the sixth series of Spooks in January.
